MEDIUM RARE

We usually prefer Japanese restaurants for our Saturday night. So last night was exceptional cause we decided to have our dinner in this Western/Italian restaurant called Chilli's. It's well-known for it's steaks, ribs, nachos and fajitas and well known for its super size portion. A typical family restaurant when one portion of any menu could feed 3 to 4 people without doubt.

The restaurant was pretty packed last night and the settings are not exclusive like a typical dining restaurant, not a place for you to dress up and look your best. I love the ambiance though. The lighting is kind of dim, the walls are dominated with green and I love the wooden floor.

Since we made a reservation before, we got a pretty decent sofa seat. The table is decorated with colorful ceramics which I found really unique.

Move on to the food we ordered. We ordered Hot Spinach Artichoke and a medium rare Smothered Tenderloin. Both are awesome, especially the Hot Spinach! It's a super size nachos served with a melting cheesy spinach and artichoke in a hot pan. We didn't finish it until the last bite though, since the portion is mad. For the tenderloin, we didn't expect it to be THAT thick. Yes we've been warned about  it's super size servings but for the tenderloin, we had no suspicion at all, we thought it would be normal, and boy we were wrong. We ate half of it before my stomach really gave up.
